Terms and Policies


We do our best to provide all of our customers with high quality products at reasonable prices. If you are not happy with our products, let us know so that we can help you. Happy customers is what we strive for!

Below, you will find all of our policies that pertain to ordering with our company. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns that need answering!



Payments

We accept all credit cards listed below with Paypal, as well as checks and money orders. Please use our shopping cart for all orders, as you will have an payment option in the checkout process. Do NOT send us your credit card information via the mail or fax. We only accept credit cards through Paypal due to the common occurrence of  fraud and identity theft.

There is no minimum order charge. But please see our Caustics Policy if you are ordering any of our lyes. If you are a business wishing to order in larger quantities, please contact us with your business information to see if you qualify for our special business accounts and discounts.

 

 


Shipping
 

Our shippers include UPS and USPS. All shipping costs are as closely estimated as possible for your benefit. Please be sure that your shipping address is correct and valid, as there are charges which can be applied if it is not.

We strive for our order turn around time to be same day shipping, so that you can receive your order ASAP. In the extreme, our order turn around could be 2-3 business days. If an item is backordered, you will be notified, and receive the option of a refund.

 


International ordering
  As of right now, we only accept international orders on a custom base to Canada. All Canadian customers, please be aware that there may be taxes, duties, and/or brokerage fees assessed on delivery of your order. Please contact us for estimated costs.
 


Returns and Refunds
  We accept returns on a custom basis. If you are not happy with your order, please let us know, and we will do our best to remedy the situation. Shipping costs are not refunded unless the product has a defect, or is wrong. Please let us know if you would like to return something. No essential oils, fixed oils, butters, or fragrance oils are accepted for returns due to the uncertainty of their purity after shipping from our facility.
 


Damaged Shipments
  Please check all of your order when it arrives. If there is a product that you are unsure of, please contact us immediately! If you are unsure and continue to use, test, or experiment with the contents of any container, DSPS accepts no responsibility for injury. Report any damage to both the shipper and DSPS. We will need all documentation in order to file claims.
 


Caustics
 

Please be aware that both Sodium Hydroxide and Potassium Hydroxide are very caustic materials. We strongly encourage you to use all safety precautions and protection when in contact with lye. Please read all our information on the Lye page, so that you will be informed on the uses and warnings concerning lye. KEEP ALL LYE AWAY FROM CHILDREN!

Due to the illegal use of Sodium Hydroxide in drug making, we must report any suspicious sale of Sodium Hydroxide to the proper authorities.

The Federal Regulations enforce certain quantities and procedure rules concerning shipping lyes. We have done our best to incorporate these into our system, but we reserve the right to change your order should it conflict with any of the federal regulations.

 


Local Pick ups
  We are an internet business, without a storefront. If you would like to save on shipping costs and pick up your order, please contact us, and we can arrange a time for you to come and get your order.
